Metal magnets produced by means of casting, made of an alloy of Aluminium(Al)-Nickel(Ni)-Cobalt(Co). They are anisotropically magnetisable, which means that all the crystalline particles they are made of face in the same direction, thus obtaining high magnetic values.

- Can work at high temperatures.
- Difficult to machine because they are very hard.
- Raw materials subject to value fluctuations as they are regarded as strategic.
- Does not support conventional tools, only with ‘corundum’ or similar grinding wheels.
