Alnico magnets

Alnico magnets are made from Aluminum, Nickel, Cobalt, Copper, Iron and other components in smaller quantities. They are the only permanent magnets made using a casting process. The hot mixture is poured into the mold and after it has cooled, it is unmolded and polished. During the cooling process, the pieces are subjected to a magnetic field that orients the particles. The end result is an anisotropic magnet.
  • The maximum working temperature is 550ºC.

  • It is a type of magnet specially indicated for the manufacture of magnetic contacts.

In Alnico magnets, tolerances can be adjusted to customer requirements, through a grinding process.
