How is magnetism used in mines?
Industrial magnets are used during the mining process to remove stray metal from the production line. Whether it’s digging, explosives or even human error, there are often unwanted metal fragments left behind that can cause problems throughout the mining chain.
IDEMAG adapts magnetic solutions / force magnetic to remove metallic or ferrous materials from conveyor belts. Magnetic separation machines consist of a vibratory feed mechanism, an upper and lower belt, and a magnet. Bulk material is fed through the vibratory mechanism on the lower belt.
